| Police arrested a Mesa couple who are suspected of using stolen Social Security numbers to buy and live in a home for five years, authorities said today. According to police, the couple used the Social Security numbers to get credit cards to purchase a home in November of 2003. The husband, David Hererra, 31, furnished the home with a couch and love seat by opening a line of credit with a furniture store using the stolen identity, police said. Police went to the home located in the 1000 block of East Glade Avenue with a search warrant around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday. In the home, police found a false Arizona driver's license and a false Social Security card belonging to Herrera's wife, Veronica Navarrete-Robles, 30, police said. |
