Sheriff suggests 'tent' jail to ease crowding
A compound on county-owned property complete with razor wire, chain-link fencing, canvas tents and portable showers and toilets dubbed "Camp Beaufort" may be Beaufort County's best chance to quickly alleviate crowding in the Beaufort County Detention Center, said Beaufort County Sheriff P.J. Tanner. New immigration-related legislation from the state and Beaufort County, coupled with the promise of additional immigration enforcement from the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office, stands to put more pressure on a jail already exceeding its capacity by more than 150 inmates. With countywide audits underway to verify federally required employee records, a state law cracking down on businesses that willingly hire illegal immigrants, and five new Sheriff's Office Immigrations and Customs Enforcement agents expected to generate "hundreds" of immigration cases weekly, the number of inmates is expected to soar.

A disgusting thought but so like the wetbacks...maybe the used toilet paper remnants everyone sees in the trash ARE their napkins... After all some animals do eat their own shit on occasion and the illegals are the lowest form of animal on the planet.

In Reply to bobinlasvegas: They know how to use toilet paper, but they don't know what to do with it after they use it, just go to Los Angeles, try to use any restroom and you will see, after they use it they put it in the trash can. They don't flush it down the toilet

In Reply to bobinlasvegas: Amen...check out the restroom in any school they attend. The first time I came across this nastiness, I thought I was going to heave my lunch.

if our troops can live in foxholes and tents then these scumbags can live in a tent...nobody said jail was a country club with all the perks at taxpayer expense...let them work on chain gangs 6-days a week with green meat sandwiches 3 times a day....usa

In Reply to JadedBaztard: They'd have to learn how to use the toilet paper first, I'm pretty sure it is too complicated for them to grasp the concept.

Wonderful. Why build permanent new jails? Let the inmates camp. Maybe they could learn some Boy Scout skills -- wait, that might help them cross the desert more easily when they coyote back in. Okay, just let them live in tents.

Most excellent! YES! Build MORE and make the f*ckers speak only ENGLISH! It's the Sheriff Joe model in action. armed usa
