WASHINGTON--California Senator Dianne Feinstein is trying to use a must-pass Iraq war spending bill being debated in Congress to advance an agricultural guest worker program she's long advocated. Feinstein's measure would create a new, temporary class of agricultural workers to meet shortages plaguing growers nationwide, and would streamline an existing farmworker visa program. The ultimate fate of the measure is uncertain. The House voted on different versions of the underlying bill on Thursday and the Senate is expected to take it up next week.

I believe it is important to write letters to your representitives in Washington. Both houses.. as often as you can. And you can share some of the very ugly information that is printed here with some hope.
But keep in mind that people like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have a profound effect on us. So does Kennedy and others including Senator Durbin and Schumer of New York. You are not allowed to email those guys in spite of the fact that you are very seriously effected by their conduct.
You must set the fax up in your computer, and usually, your printer will fax the information. There are other ways, and that includes email faxes which are the most convienient way of all... Go to Help in your Windows. Ask for Fax and then read the information. You will be glad you did.
And then you can write these people. If you make it dirty, you can be proscequted, and frankly, I hope you are.
