Laredo prepares to open rest stop for returning migrants
LAREDO, Texas -- The city of Laredo and other government agencies will open a rest stop Friday that's designed to help travelers on their way to Mexico for the holidays. Every year, roughly 90,000 immigrants pass through Laredo on their way home for the holidays, some coming from as far as the Midwest or California. For the last 10 years, the city convention and visitor's bureau has opened a rest stop with the Mexican General Consulate to help travelers ensure they have the right documents and to help check goods headed to Mexico to quicken entry at the border port.

This is what drives me crazy. Illegals have been going back and forth, whenever they want, for decades. The stamp on the baseball bat was an excellent idea.

In Reply to tiredofit: That should be made into a rubber stamp printed in Spanish attached to a ball bat. As they cross the border, Border Patrol should smack them in the forehead so we can sure when they look at each other all the Mexicans will read it.

Give them the following card:

If you're illegal and try to return to the United States, you will go directly to jail for 5 years. If you happen to sneak by and then get caught, your sentence will be doubled. You will sleep on a cot in the desert and fed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches 3 times a day and wear pink pajamas. You will work on a chain gang for no wages everyday for your entire sentence. Have a nice day....

Great idea, push them through and build a wall before they return.
