Families say they worry they will be torn apart
About 300 students and parents attended an immigration town hall meeting Thursday night at Santa Fe South Charter School, seeking clarity about new immigration laws. "There's a tremendous amount of fear among our students and among our parents," said Santa Fe South High School Principal Chris Brewster. "Kids are scared, and some are facing very tragic episodes of racism because of the color of their skin or because of their accents. About 80 percent of the student body at Santa Fe is Hispanic. Brewster says he has already seen a slight drop in the student body population directly due to House Bill 1804. He expects to see even fewer in the classrooms following Christmas break.

What worries me is that the puta works for one of the largest corporations in the state and his father earns a decent salary in construction.

Who is this corporation and why are they not hiring American citizens?

Ask the American that can not find a job how he feels about this.

And why is the father working for a construction company?

Any odds on the social security numbers they are using belong to American citizens?

Wake the frick up pols, These are lawbreaking people that need to be punished.

I just read the comments attached to the story...and if Shaddelle is an example of what the Oklahoma school system is putting out, they're in BIG trouble. Why is the school explaining the laws to these parents? Last time I needed legal advice, I went to an attorney...not the principal at my kids school! And, if you want to stay with your kids, throw em in the car when you head back down southkrazy

Juan Flores, 15, his parents and three siblings came to Oklahoma illegally from Jalisco about four years ago .... In Jalisco, his mother worked in the fields, picking crops. Here, his mother works for one of the largest corporations in the state and his father earns a decent salary in construction.

Let's see, that's four cowbird babies dropped into the school system and two good jobs stolen from American citizens. I think this family has done pretty well for themselves and should have saved some money for the trip back to Jalisco. At least they have some new skills and might speak English, though that is usually not the case even after decades in America.

screw you and your family torn apart crap you stupid scumbags...our soldiers are separated every day and some for well over a year at a time...whine to someone who really cares...maybe your presidente..but not the American public...your stories are no longer worthy of a millisecond of our time...if ya ain't here legally feel fear and feel it enough that you do what you should have done...applied at the back of the line in your home country....get the heck out of our country already and take your vernim tax suckin leeches with you....armed armed armed armed armed

This is a link to a story about Seaboard. I found it by reading some of the commets from this artical.

("Seaboard has interests in hogs, strawberries, chickens, shrimp, salmon, flour and wine. Its operations span four continents and nearly two dozen countries and range from cargo ocean liners to sugarcane. And like other profitable businesses, it collects subsidies--or, more accurately, corporate welfare--from local, state and federal governments. Indeed, officials trip over one another in the rush to extend taxpayer support to Seaboard.")
